How to Get to SuperShuttle After You Land
Upon arrival, follow the signs to the baggage claim area and collect your luggage. Proceed to the SuperShuttle ticket counter, located on the lower level just before the East and West exits, to speak with a uniformed Customer Service Representative. After purchase, a representative will escort you to the loading areas at 1D and 1E. The ticket counter is staffed from 6:00 AM to 2:00 AM daily. Dulles Airport (IAD) Information
IAD Airport is located in Chantilly, VA on 12,000 acres of land 26 miles from downtown
Washington, DC. The Main Terminal opened in 1962 and was designed by architect Eero
Saarinen. Dulles is a major hub for domestic and international air travel with eleven
domestic carriers and 22 international carriers which providing air service to over
23 million passengers throughout the world each year. Flights operate from midfield
concourses A, B, C and D and Z-gates connected to the Main Terminal. The Airport
is currently in the midst of a major construction program called D2, Dulles Development,
which includes the expansion of Concourse B, a new runway which will open in 2008,
and an automated people mover system called AeroTrain which will open in 2009. The
airport is connected to the region’s highway system via an Authority-operated,
16-mile Airport Access Highway dedicated to airport users.
