How to Get to SuperShuttle When You Land

San Diego Area Shuttle Service from SAN Airport
After collecting your luggage, take the sky bridge or cross walk over to the ground transportation islands. Look for the island with a blue sign overhead which reads ‘Shuttles for Hire’. Contact the airport customer service representative. Request Cloud 9/SuperShuttle and give your destination location. The representative will call a van for you.

If you have a reservation for Exclusive Van Service please remain in the baggage claim area and call 619-564-7998 so dispatch can send a van to you curbside at the terminal.

San Diego International Airport (SAN) Information

Founded in 1928, San Diego International Airport is the 30th busiest airport in the country in terms of passengers and the busiest single-runway commercial service airport in the nation.

1. The Airport is conveniently located three miles northwest of downtown San Diego and sits on 661 acres.
2. The Airport's passenger and cargo airlines operate close to 300 departures daily.
3. The Airport and affiliated enterprises contribute an estimated $9.9 billion annually to the regional economy.
4. An improvement program investing more than $232 million was completed on January 7, 1998. Projects included a 300,000-square-foot, eight-gate expansion of Terminal 2, a new roadway system, complete remodeling of the existing terminal interiors, new shops and restaurants, increased parking and a new baggage claim area.
5. Approximately 4,900 employees work for the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority, airlines, support service providers, federal agencies, fixed base operator, cargo operators and concessions at the Airport.
6. In 1976, San Diego International Airport became the first commercial airport in the nation to enact restrictions on late night and early morning takeoffs. Aircraft departures are not allowed between 11:30 p.m. and 6:30 a.m.
