New York City operations are now operating limited services from the city, primarily in service to flights arriving at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Newark Liberty International (EWR). LaGuardia International Airport (LGA) remains closed until further notice, due to flooding.
On a normal day, New York traffic can be challenging to navigate, but traffic is currently extremely slow. In addition to the surge of stranded travelers attempting to enter or leave the city, public transportation is suspended, street light outages are interrupting traffic flows, and the majority of tunnels in and out of Manhattan are closed. Reports coming back estimate a 3-hour commute into, or out of, the city.
If you must travel into or out of Manhattan today, please be prepared for extreme delays.
Please check with your airline carrier before any scheduled pickups as only a handful of airlines are operating today. Most airlines are expected to resume operations tomorrow.
