I have two questions: 1. Ford has stopped producing Econoline vans, which van will you be using in the future? 2. In a recent post you mentioned the drivers were franchisees, can you expand on your business model? I was under the impression your regions/cities are run by franchisees as well. 3. Can I suggest a new airport/route? Lansing Michigan to metro Detroit.

David: Lots of great questions. I have not yet heard which vans we'll switch to but I'm sure we'll find out in the coming months. Our operators are franchise owners, which means that operators run their vans as independent businesses. You can learn a bit more about the process here. We'll be doing a detailed blog post in the coming months, too. A couple of our cities are run as master franchises, as well. Thanks for the suggestion! Detroit sure is popular. I'll pass the recommendation up the chain. Thanks, David!

Hi, Alma! It looks like the shared-ride rates are $14 for the 1st passenger, $10 each additional passenger. There are a number of different options available. To see all of them, check out our fare calculator here.

Seeing that MaryJo shared a very good experience with Super Shuttle, I'd like to contribute with an awful one to balance this. Super Shuttle essentially left me stranded on Manhattan - even though I was outside the building where they were supposed to pick me up and waited for over one hour. The ride was 50 minutes late, the driver stopped at the wrong address, Super Shuttle staff were rude, unapologetic and not helpful and I never even got an apology (I did get a very unapologetic phone call saying "my money would be refunded"). I would strongly discourage anyone from using this company.

I'm sorry, Michael. Do you happen to have a case number from the experience?

Mary: You can schedule a new outbound reservation (aka a ride from the airport) via email or phone. For email, send details and your original confirmation to customercare@supershuttle.net. To call for immediate assistance, the number is 1-800-BLUE VAN (258-3826) and it's open 24-7.

I will recommend SuperShuttle to everyone I meet from this day forward! We had a fantastic experience both on arrival to our hotel in San francisco and then back to the airport to return home to Buffalo, NY. I would love to be your spokes person! I can't say enough about this first time experience with SuperShuttle! MaryJo (Buffalo, New York)
